Scott Stirling, the father of both Geoffrey and Lydia, who serves as the President and CEO of Newfoundland Broadcasting Company in Canada, also shared his feelings with People. He emphasized the qualities of his son, declaring, “Geoffrey was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a television producer, scriptwriter, actor, and model. He attended church every Sunday and supported multiple charities. We miss him already.”

According to the police department’s press release, Stirling, a resident of Laguna Beach, was riding his motorcycle on Pacific Coast Highway when an officer initiated a traffic stop around 9:15 PM.

In the process of the struggle, he reportedly managed to take the officer’s taser from its holster and attempted to use it against the officer.
