In a significant collaborative endeavor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Miami, in conjunction with Florida law enforcement agencies, has arrested almost 800 undocumented immigrants during the first four days of Operation Tidal Wave. This extensive crackdown on illegal immigration involves multiple agencies working together to enforce immigration laws across the state.

Key Arrests Highlighting the Operation

Among the many arrests reported, notable cases include a convicted Colombian murderer, alleged members of the violent MS-13 and 18th Street gangs, and a Russian national facing an Interpol Red Notice for manslaughter. These arrests underscore the operation’s focus on apprehending individuals with serious criminal backgrounds.

Jose Sanchez Reyes, a Colombian national, was detained as he had previously been convicted of homicide in his home country before entering the U.S. unlawfully.

Gang Activity and Criminal Backgrounds

Rafael Juarex Cabrera, a Guatemalan immigrant and suspected MS-13 gang member, has been apprehended multiple times for reentering the U.S. illegally. His criminal history includes felony reentry charges. Similarly, Savva Klishchevskii, a Russian illegal immigrant, has an active Interpol Red Notice associated with him due to vehicular manslaughter.

Another arrest involved Aron Isaak Morazan-Izaguirre, a Honduran national accused of ties to the 18th Street gang and suspected of terrorism. His history includes two illegal reentries into the United States.

Operation’s Ongoing Efforts and Support

Operation Tidal Wave remains an active initiative, with Florida law enforcement continuing to collaborate with ICE to support the migration policies set by the administration of President Donald Trump. Officials from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have provided what they describe as
