On Wednesday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made a notable appearance on Capitol Hill for the confirmation hearing for Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary. In a show of support, leaders and advocates from the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement gathered to express their commitment to health reforms.
Prominently featured among the supporters was Marla Maples, the ex-wife of former President Donald Trump and mother of Tiffany Trump. Maples co-founded the Global Wellness Forum, an organization dedicated to advocacy for global health, sovereignty, and transparency.
The Global Wellness Forum aims to unite various groups and activists around the world to enhance their health promotion efforts. According to their mission statement, the organization is focused on amplifying voices advocating for better health and wellness.
In an exclusive on-camera interview with Fox News Digital, Maples expressed her enthusiasm for the MAHA movement. She voiced strong hopes for a healthier future in America, particularly under the guidance of her friend, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“I feel it’s imperative to support America’s health and our children’s health, especially in light of how we’ve suffered when it comes to food quality and safety, often without proper insight or consent on medical aspects of our food supply,” Maples stated.
She also highlighted a personal aspect of her advocacy, saying, “It’s crucial for us to leave a cleaner world not just for our children, but also for our grandchildren. After all, I’m soon to be a grandmother, and that motivates me even more to make a positive impact.”
Tiffany Trump, now 30, is expecting a child with her husband, Michael Boulos, as announced by former President Trump last October.
Maples attached great importance to food labeling and suggested that Americans should take the time to carefully review what they consume. “It’s vital to avoid corn syrups and artificial colors. I’ve consistently advised steering clear of refined sugars, as they do far more harm than good,” she said.
She emphasized the importance of trusting one’s intuition regarding their health, noting, “We all possess an innate sense of what is healthy for us. It’s essential to take the time to care for yourself and listen to your body. Every individual can be their best doctor when it comes to their health decisions.”
Maples also advocated for individuals to grow their own food whenever possible. “Creating a personal garden is incredibly rewarding and beneficial. Though I now live in a condo, I still manage to cultivate herbs,” she shared.
Furthermore, she highlighted the power of prayer in her wellness routine, stating, “Being mindful before putting anything into your body is crucial. I believe in the power of prayer over all aspects of health and wellness.”
In terms of maintaining both physical and mental fitness, Maples noted that she engages in handstands and a variety of stretching exercises. She commented, “When I get the chance to play a sport during the week, I seize it. Staying active helps keep my mind clear and focused, which is essential in today’s fast-paced world.”
Representatives from the Global Wellness Forum were present at Kennedy’s confirmation hearing, showcasing their support for his health initiatives. Maples reflected, “We look forward to helping Bobby with his initiatives in government, collaborating to bring teams together to support the community altogether.”
