A new government relations firm has officially opened its doors in Washington, D.C., focusing on the rapidly evolving fields of cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence. NexusOne Consulting, spearheaded by attorney Jeff Ifrah, brings together a team that includes former Trump administration attorney Jim Trusty and ex-Trump Commerce Department official Ross Branson.
This consultancy aims to advocate for clients navigating these emerging technologies, which have experienced unprecedented growth since the onset of the Trump administration. Ifrah, who also leads Ifrah Law, identified a significant need for representation within these industries. He noted that prior to Trump’s electoral success, the demand for D.C.-based advocacy in cryptocurrency and AI was virtually nonexistent.
Ifrah explained that the emergence of AI and cryptocurrency as pivotal sectors in the economy created a pressing demand for expert advocacy. He remarked, “Shortly after Trump won the election, it became clear that these two verticals would require representation, something they hadn’t previously considered.”
Given this insight, Ifrah decided to establish a new consulting firm equipped with the unique relationships cultivated during their time in government. He observed a lack of competition in this space, which further motivated the launch of NexusOne Consulting.
Trusty stated in a recent press release that NexusOne aims to provide a platform where emerging tech sectors, including cryptocurrency, AI, and social media, can gain influence. He emphasized the firm’s mission, asserting, “NexusOne was launched to give these industries a seat at the table.” This philosophy underlines the need for both the Executive Branch and private industry to collaborate effectively.
NexusOne also disclosed its advisory board, which includes notable figures such as Bill Bennett, former U.S. Secretary of Education under George H.W. Bush, and Mary Fallin, former GOP Governor of Oklahoma. Their combined experience adds significant credibility to the firm’s goals and enhances its network for client advocacy.
Located directly across from the White House, NexusOne Consulting describes itself as a crucial link between innovation and regulation. The firm’s strategic position allows it to facilitate discussions around technology policy and ensure that the voices of innovators are heard in the halls of power.
Earlier this month, Bo Hines, executive director of the President’s Council of Advisers on Digital Assets, emphasized that the Trump administration is taking steps to position the U.S. as the leading hub for cryptocurrency. Hines predicted a forthcoming
