“We encountered two newsletters that presented Hamas in a manner that was unacceptable,” Adams told anchor Wolf Blitzer. “Hamas is a dangerous organization, and we cannot permit its ideology to infiltrate our public school system.” This statement reflects the mayor’s commitment to ensuring that the educational environment fosters respect and inclusivity.

He continued, asserting, “New York City represents a vibrant mosaic where diverse voices converge. We support orderly protests that allow citizens to communicate their perspectives. The previous administration reduced federal funding to New York’s Columbia University by $400 million due to rising antisemitism on campus.
