Alexa Anderson articulated her position during an interview, stating, “I don’t believe it is fair to biological females to allow and encourage biological males to compete among us. This applies not just to me and the other girl who stepped down, but also to the girl who should have secured a podium spot and the one who missed the state competition after losing to a biological male at the district level.”
