Oscar-nominated actress Sally Kirkland has passed away at the age of 84, as confirmed by Fox News Digital.

In a poignant statement shared with Fox News Digital, Kirkland’s manager said, “She was a force to be reckoned with and loved acting more than life. With that love, she continued to work and transformed from a leading lady to deep, memorable character work.” Her final film, titled “Sallywood,” is set for release on November 14.

Kirkland’s representative, Michael Greene, reported that the actress died Tuesday morning in a hospice facility located in Palm Springs.
