Pentagon Declares Major Success of U.S. Military Strikes on Iranian Nuclear Sites

In a recent press briefing held at the Pentagon, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Dan Caine announced the success of United States military strikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities. The operation took place under the orders of President Donald Trump, marking a significant escalation in U.S.-Iran tensions.

During the press conference, Hegseth reported, “Last night, U.S. Central Command successfully executed precision strikes against three critical nuclear facilities in Iran: Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. These actions aimed to dismantle or significantly impair Iran’s nuclear ambitions.” Hegseth emphasized that the operation was both precise and effective, stating that it did not involve attacks on Iranian troops or civilians.

The briefing followed President Trump’s national address late Saturday, in which he detailed the successful assault on Iranian infrastructure. Hegseth elaborated, saying, “The mission showcased the robust integration of our allies and the strength of joint operational forces. As President Trump has reiterated, the United States does not pursue war; however, we will respond decisively when American interests are at risk. Iran should heed this warning.”
