The Pittsburgh Steelers organization has reached out to fans following concerns about several players’ appearance at a recent speech given by President Donald Trump at a U.S. Steel plant in Pennsylvania.
Quarterback Mason Rudolph, safety Miles Killebrew, and former running back Rocky Bleier, a four-time Super Bowl champion, shared the stage with Trump and presented him with a custom jersey emblazoned with the number 47.

In a statement, a Steelers spokesperson confirmed that they had replied to fans who expressed dissatisfaction. This response aims to clarify the organization’s position and acknowledge the diverse opinions within their fan base.
During the rally, Trump praised each player individually, particularly highlighting Mason Rudolph as a potential franchise quarterback for the Steelers. “I think a really good quarterback is a man named Mason Rudolph. I believe he will receive a significant opportunity. He’s tall, he’s handsome, and has a great arm. I have a feeling he’s going to be the guy,” Trump said.
Killebrew received similar accolades, with Trump referring to him as a “killer” on the field.
