FIRST ON FOX: Senator Susan Collins, a Republican from Maine, is pushing back against advertisements from a political action committee associated with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat from New York. These ads insinuate that Collins has profited from stock trading during her nearly three decades in Washington.
The Majority Forward PAC, linked to Schumer’s Senate Majority PAC, has initiated a hefty $700,000 advertising blitz against Collins. This campaign comes at a time when she is contemplating a run for a sixth term in the Senate, although she has yet to formally announce her candidacy.
