Repeat Offender Charged in Fatal Street Racing Incident that Claimed EMT’s Life

A Wisconsin man, previously convicted of a fatal car crash, faces serious charges after allegedly killing an EMT in a street racing incident. Dayton Milligan, the 22-year-old driver, reportedly engaged in a reckless high-speed race before the incident unfolded in Milwaukee on January 15.

The collision involved a pickup truck, which Milligan was driving, and an SUV. Witnesses stated that the pickup struck the SUV, leading to devastating injuries for the driver, 34-year-old Meng Kue, who served as an EMT with Bell Ambulance. Tragically, Kue did not survive the crash, with authorities confirming that he died from multiple blunt force injuries.

The Incident

Eyewitness accounts indicate that the chaos began at the intersection of 76th and Appleton streets. According to a witness, as the traffic light turned green, Milligan and two other vehicles accelerated rapidly down 76th Street. One witness described the speed of the vehicles as reaching approximately 80 mph before the collision occurred.
