At the age of 48, Mazraani was diving approximately 200 miles offshore, targeting a shipwreck known as the Big Engine Steamer when the incident occurred on July 29. Atlantic Wreck Salvage, the company he co-owned, released a statement on their Facebook page regarding the unfortunate event.
