Renowned singer Smokey Robinson has categorically rejected the sexual assault allegations directed towards him, asserting that they are unfounded and malicious.
His attorney, Christopher Frost, provided a statement on behalf of Robinson, shedding light on the lawsuit’s dubious nature. He claims that the accusations represent an attempt to extort money from the legendary Motown artist, emphasizing inconsistencies and questionable timelines in the plaintiffs’ testimonies.
In addition to the charges against Robinson, his wife of 25 years, Frances, faces allegations of fostering a hostile work environment.

The allegations surfaced when a lawsuit was filed by four anonymous former employees, claiming Robinson engaged in sexual misconduct and false imprisonment. The legal documents suggest that these incidents purportedly occurred at his home in Chatsworth between 2006 and 2024.
