On a recent episode of “The View,” co-host Sunny Hostin expressed her disapproval of Democratic lawmakers who attended President Donald Trump’s address to Congress without taking a stand. She highlighted the moment when Rep. Al Green from Texas was removed after vocally challenging the president’s policies.
Hostin remarked, “When Rep. Al Green stood up and said, ‘you don’t have a mandate to take away Medicaid,’ and was subsequently thrown out, I expected the rest of his Democratic colleagues to follow him out in protest.” She emphasized that unity is essential, stating that individual resilience is not enough in confrontational political climates.
