Weiss stated, “AI designing shoes is going to disrupt the category due to the incredible speed to market. Traditionally, new shoe models can take up to 18 months to design and produce, but with AI and 3D printing, we’ve reduced this timeframe to just a few months.” This rapid production capability could disrupt the footwear industry by enabling brands to respond quickly to trends and consumer demands.
