The game sold out rapidly, drawing attention from local news outlets and trending across social media platforms. The people of San Diego eagerly anticipated this groundbreaking start for their new professional soccer team.

The day began with various ceremonial activities. Local politicians joined in the festivities, marking this historic moment with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and heartfelt dedications. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as fans prepared to cheer on their team.

The Power of Tradition Before the Game

As the game time approached, the crowd’s energy reached its peak. The cherished American tradition of singing the national anthem would soon commence. When the announcer beckoned the crowd to stand for the national anthem, I proudly joined 35,000 fellow attendees. I anticipated a powerful performance, but to my surprise, the announcer revealed that we would all sing together. It would be a sing-along.
