“I was on the phone with Donald Trump all evening long, all evening. He called me first thing this morning,” Bondi stated. She added, “He is horrified by what happened. We will support our Jewish community.”

The FBI is currently investigating the killings as a possible hate crime. The victims, identified as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, were preparing to get engaged. That should never happen,” she emphasized.

President Trump addressed the tragic events on Truth Social, urging an immediate end to such acts of violence. His post read, “These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW! Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA. Condolences to the families of the victims. Interim U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro has been assigned to prosecute the case. Bondi announced that the Department of Justice is contemplating whether to seek capital murder charges as the investigation unfolds.
