President Donald Trump has reaffirmed his commitment to his contentious tariffs plan, urging Americans to double down during recent stock market turbulence. In a post on Truth Social, Trump encouraged citizens to ‘hang tough’ as markets faced significant declines over the past few days.
Trump asserted that his economic strategy is already yielding results, claiming that trillions of dollars have been redirected into the U.S. economy as a result of his tariff initiatives. In a recent move, China retaliated against Trump’s tariffs by imposing a reciprocal 34 percent tariff on U.S. imports, heightening concerns over escalating trade tensions. Trump responded, asserting, ‘China has been hit much harder than the USA, not even close. They, and many other nations, have treated us unsustainably badly. We have been the dumb and helpless
