President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that deportation is the sole method of leaving the new “Alligator Alcatraz” migrant detention center situated in the expansive Florida Everglades.

Speaking with reporters after his tour of the facility, which occupies a former airport site in Miami-Dade County, Trump stated that it will soon accommodate “some of the most menacing migrants, some of the most vicious people on the planet.” His comments were made in the context of reinforcing strict immigration policies.

Trump referred to the facility as “Alligator Alcatraz,” emphasizing the treacherous environment surrounding it. He remarked, “I looked outside, and that is not a place I want to go hiking anytime soon.
