Trump Implements Strong Measures Against Drug Smuggling to Protect American Lives

As President Donald Trump intensifies efforts to dismantle drug trafficking organizations, one expert commends his administration’s decisive stance against this clear and present danger to the United States.

The long-running battle against drug trafficking has evolved. Once focused primarily on cocaine and marijuana, the fight now centers on the deadly synthetic opioid fentanyl. According to retired Coast Guard pilot John Mixson, fentanyl-related fatalities accumulate gradually, leading to mass casualty events over time.
