The U.S. State Department is set to officially classify four Antifa-linked organizations operating in Europe as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specifically Designated Global Terrorists. This groundbreaking decision has been confirmed by Fox News Digital.
This designation marks a significant expansion of the previous domestic terrorism policies under President Trump, extending the government’s reach to international entities associated with Antifa.
The four identified Antifa-aligned groups operate in Germany, Italy, and Greece. They are accused of orchestrating violent acts, including bombings and shootings, all driven by political motives.

One notable group is Antifa Ost, a far-left organization linked to numerous attacks from 2018 through 2023 in Germany. German officials have already charged several individuals associated with this group, indicating active law enforcement engagement.
Meanwhile, in September 2025, the Hungarian government took measures against this group, labeling it as a terrorist organization following an incident in which nine members reportedly assaulted bystanders with various weapons in Budapest.
The International Revolutionary Front, also known as the Informal Anarchist Federation, is based in Italy and comprises multiple groups that advocate for armed conflict against the government. Over the past two decades, this coalition has been linked to numerous acts of violence, including letter bombs targeting governmental and industrial institutions and the 2012 shooting of a nuclear engineering executive.

In a bold statement, the Revolutionary Class Self Defense group issued a declaration regarding the bombing, expressing solidarity with
