FIRST ON FOX: The U.S. State Department and Secretary Marco Rubio have defended their commitment to deliver critical humanitarian aid amid claims that contracts for Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Foods, known as RUTFs, have been suspended. They emphasize an unwavering dedication to helping the world’s most vulnerable children.
A senior official from the State Department stated, “As USAID transitions under our umbrella, we remain wholly committed to humanitarian efforts that align with America’s foreign policy goals.” This exclusive statement highlights the agency’s focus on life-saving nutrition for those in need.
Recently, an additional $50 million has been allocated specifically for RUTFs, enough to nourish over one million children facing severe malnutrition globally. These foods are crucial in combating child malnutrition, and the renewed funding reaffirms the United States’ role in international aid.

Rubio retorted, “You need to figure out why they’re not moving, because it isn’t an impediment for us,
