Authorities responded to reports of a residential burglary around 3 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Bosworth and another teen suffering from gunshot wounds. A third teen escaped unharmed, underscoring the chaotic circumstances surrounding the event.

The situation escalated quickly, as Bosworth succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Meanwhile, the other injured teen received treatment for minor injuries and was released.
