In a sharp rebuttal, White House Deputy Press Secretary Harrison Fields remarked that it was ironic for Walz, dubbed ‘Jazz Hands’, to condemn chaos. Fields pointed to the 2020 riots in Minneapolis, which unfolded during Walz’s tenure, stating, “He let his largest city burn to the ground while his wife enjoyed the fumes from their mansion’s windows. Walz also collaborated with Vice President Kamala Harris, presiding over one of the most chaotic administrations in American history.”
In his address, Walz targeted Trump for his approach to deporting illegal immigrants, including those suspected of gang affiliations and ties to terrorist organizations. Walz emphasized that Trump has actively worked against the fundamental values that once made America a beacon of hope and freedom.
“The president has deliberately chosen to dismantle the values that made America a shining light in the world,” Walz stated.
