White House Responds to Schiff’s Demands, Highlights Pelosi’s Financial Controversies

The White House spokesman Kush Desai remarked, “The American public remains deeply concerned about Nancy Pelosi’s long-standing history of insider trading. They eagerly await Adam Schiff’s shift in focus to serious matters, such as Pelosi’s financial dealings,” in response to inquiries about Schiff’s actions.
Details of Schiff’s Request
In his letter to Warrington and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, Schiff, a Democrat from California, expressed escalating concern regarding the lack of financial disclosure reports submitted by senior White House officials to the Office of Government Ethics. He emphasized the urgency of compliance with statutory deadlines for these disclosures.
Schiff insisted the White House provide a comprehensive list of officials who are required to file “new entrant” reports. He also demanded an explanation for the White House’s failure to certify such reports, along with details about any late fees incurred for delayed filings.

In statements made to Fox News Digital, the White House strongly defended its actions, assuring that all officials required to file public reports are indeed complying with their legal duties. White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers emphasized the administration’s ongoing commitment to transparency.
Rogers noted the obligation for periodic transaction reports disclosing the purchase or sale of certain securities has been met, reinforcing the notion that transparency in government is essential for maintaining public trust.

Schiff stated, “For decades, administrations from both parties, including the prior Trump administration, have adhered to these requirements.
