EXCLUSIVE: WWE is preparing to launch a series of new podcasts in anticipation of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. This initiative is part of an expanded partnership with Fanatics, as reported by Fox News Digital on Monday.
Under the new agreement, Fanatics will become the primary partner for all upcoming WWE podcast productions. The collaboration between the two companies began in 2022, encompassing a range of sectors, including e-commerce, merchandise, trading cards, and memorabilia.
The inaugural podcast entitled “The Raw Recap Show” is set to debut on Tuesday morning. This show will analyze and discuss the latest developments from “Monday Night Raw,” and will be hosted by Megan Morant and Sam Roberts. They will provide insights and reactions to key moments from one of WWE’s flagship shows.
In addition to the weekly recap podcast, Morant and Roberts will also offer instant reactions after each premium live event. This feature is expected to kick off following WrestleMania 41. The podcasts will be accessible on popular platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and iHeartRadio, with additional content made available on WWE’s YouTube channel.
Fanatics will play a significant role within each podcast episode, featuring prominently as a key partner. Additionally, WWE podcasts will have the opportunity to integrate coverage of Fanatics’ events and the array of athletes associated with them.
As part of their collaboration, WWE and Fanatics will co-host the WWE World event in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year. This event originally debuted in Philadelphia ahead of WrestleMania XL, showcasing the partnership’s growth.
WWE has hinted at exciting developments, announcing that well-known superstars and legends of the wrestling industry will host podcasts in the future. These additional podcasts will be unveiled at a later date, promising unique insights from wrestling icons.
As the excitement builds for WrestleMania 41, scheduled for April 19 and 20 at Allegiant Stadium, fans are eager to witness the unfolding drama. Recent events have clarified the title picture for both the men’s and women’s divisions.
During the Elimination Chamber premium live event on Saturday, John Cena secured a victory in the men’s Elimination Chamber match. He is now set to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Cena’s surprising heel turn against “The American Nightmare” has generated significant buzz in the sports world, leaving fans eager for their upcoming clash.
On the women’s side, Bianca Belair emerged victorious in her Elimination Chamber match and will compete against either Rhea Ripley or Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship. Ripley is scheduled to defend her title against Sky on the next episode of “Monday Night Raw.”
In other title matches, Jey Uso will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, while Charlotte Flair will go up against Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship. Both Uso and Flair earned their championship opportunities by winning their respective Royal Rumble matches, allowing them the choice of title contention.
