FIRST ON FOX — The tragic shooting death of Charlie Kirk last week has reverberated throughout the nation, particularly among young conservative voters. One of these young voices, Brilyn Hollyhand, a 19-year-old college freshman, has announced a multi-state university tour aimed at fostering conversation, debate, and engagement among young voters to help continue the impactful legacy of Kirk.
The tour, titled “One Conversation at a Time,” is supported by Turning Point USA, the nonprofit organization founded by Kirk. This initiative seeks to mobilize young people towards activism in conservative politics. Hollyhand’s tour will cover ten prominent universities across the southeastern United States, including locations in Florida, South Carolina, and Mississippi, where undergraduate populations typically range from 30,000 to 40,000 students, according to data from U.S. News & World Report.
Hollyhand, a known figure in his community as a podcast host and author, first met Kirk in fourth grade when Kirk was a guest on his podcast. He expressed in an interview with Fox News Digital that Kirk’s untimely death should galvanize young people to engage openly and share their thoughts in face-to-face conversations.
Hollyhand emphasized that this kind of engagement was something Kirk excelled at. He argued that such interactions are crucial for countering the rising tide of violence in political discourse.
“If we’ve learned anything in the last week, it’s that you can kill a man, but you cannot kill a movement,” Hollyhand stated. He added, “We’re not going to be silenced. And now more than ever, we have to make America talk again — and that starts on college campuses.”
