Country music superstar Zac Brown and renowned jewelry designer Kendra Scott are about to embark on a significant journey of blending their families as they approach marriage.
In a candid interview with Fox News Digital, Brown, who is set to make history as the first country artist to perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas, shared insights into their family’s future. He expressed excitement about the merging of their lives.
Brown stated, “It has been incredible. My kids adore her. She has a couple of older boys, and they’ve faced their own challenges. They rightfully remain protective of their experiences.”
The singer acknowledged the complexities of their family dynamics, adding, “As we get to know each other more deeply, I hope they will understand better who I am. Kendra’s children are just amazing. One of her sons is the same age as mine, which is fantastic. It reflects her quality as a mother. Despite everything she has faced, she has been an incredible mom.”
Brown continued to praise the distinct qualities of all their children, noting, “They are all exceptional in their unique ways, just as my children are. They may differ greatly, but together, they create a harmonious environment, blessing our families through partnership based on mutual support and understanding.”
He elaborated on the importance of finding a life partner who shares similar values. “Having someone who aligns with you in redefining success is essential. Life can be complex, but it feels like this was meant to be, and I am grateful for every moment,” he concluded.
Both Zac Brown and Kendra Scott come into this relationship with experiences from previous marriages. Scott’s journey through marriage includes a union with John Scott from 2000 to 2006, from which they have two sons. She later married Matt Davis in 2014, and the couple welcomed another son before parting ways in 2020. Scott’s most recent marriage in 2022 to Thomas Evans also ended in separation.
On the other hand, Zac Brown divorced his first wife, Shelly, in 2018 after 12 years of marriage. They share five children: Justice, Lucy, Georgia, Joni, and Alexander.
Earlier this year, Brown wed actress and model Kelly Yazdi in August 2023, but their marriage ended in separation just four months later, followed by a drawn-out divorce finalized in January 2024.
During his recent interview, Brown revealed the special moment he proposed to Scott. “Kendra is an extraordinary person. We share deep values concerning family, business, and philanthropy. To propose, I needed to find the right moment. So, we were on a river, surrounded by nature, with 30 elephants nearby, a setting sun, and birds flying above. It was a magical experience,” he recounted.
He reflected on their relationship, saying, “It’s not our first time at this, but this feels utterly distinct compared to anything I’ve known before. I feel grateful to have found someone who understands being a leader and supports each other in ways I never imagined possible. I truly cherish her spirit.”
Brown emphasized that Scott’s success in business does not alter his feelings for her. Instead, their partnership based on mutual appreciation enhances their bond. “We learn a lot from one another, particularly in how we approach challenges. Having someone dynamic yet grounded is refreshing,” he remarked.
In the exciting professional arena, Zac Brown Band recently announced a residency titled “Love & Fear” at the Sphere in Las Vegas, scheduled for December 2025 and January 2026. This opportunity marks the band as the first country music group to take the stage in the innovative venue, leading Brown to express his gratitude and enthusiasm for this landmark event.
In his words, “I am honestly thrilled to be the first country group performing at the Sphere. Our music transcends genre constraints. As a Southern artist from Georgia, my sound evolves from genuine individuality rather than industry pressure. We pride ourselves on our independence as we control our own narrative and artistry. It is an honor to utilize cutting-edge technology to showcase our creations, and I am dedicated to ensuring that this performance is extraordinary.”
The band will unveil their brand new album, also titled “Love & Fear,” coinciding with the first night of their residency on December 5. This moment represents not only a new chapter for Brown personally but also professionally as he merges his family and career during this transformative period.
The merging of their families and the commencement of their relationship together showcases the hope and strength that can arise from shared experiences. As both navigate the challenges that previous relationships brought, they step forward into a promising future.
As they prepare to become a family, Brown emphasizes the importance of prioritizing their children, saying, “Our family comes first, and that is what matters most. I am saturated with excitement about our blended family dynamic, which symbolizes a true blessing.”
The journey ahead for Zac Brown and Kendra Scott, marked by hope, support, and love, assures fans and family alike that they embrace the beauty of new beginnings while cherishing their past.
